This traditional Chinese sauce is made from crushed fermented soybeans and is used widely in East and Southeast Asian cuisine. This paste adds a rich savoury taste to stir-fried meats and vegetables, and is also wonderful as a sauce for braising, steaming, baking, or grilling.
Ingredients: Onion, sunflower oil, tomato paste, salt, fennel, ginger, garlic, turmeric, chilli, garam masala, coriander seeds.
