"National Dish" of Singapore. The rice is enjoyed with steamed chicken dipped in dark soy sauce, chili, and ginger sauce.
Cooking Instruction:
Hainanese Chicken Rice Paste 1 packet
Cooking Oil 2 tablespoon
Ginger 2 slices
Garlic 1 piece
Shallot 2 pieces
Rice (uncooked) 3 cups (400g)
Hot Water 500ml
Heat rice cooker, add cooking oil, fry ginger, garlic and shallot till fragrant. Add in washed rice, Chicken Rice Paste and hot water. Mix well. Cook rice as usual.
Cooking tips: Rice will be more fragrant if add in some pandan leaves in rice cooker before cooking.
